Reviews
The following are genuine unsolicited reviews from our concert-goers.What a beautifully constructed programme! A mixture of the unfamiliar and the favourites. The performance of 'The Ghost' brought to mind the Beaux Arts Trio. A triumph.

Last night's performance of Biber's Mystery Sonatas was truly magnificent; and your performance of the Passacaglia to the Guardian Angel was spellbinding. It was a privilege to be in the audience. Please accept my congratulations and thanks for a marvellous evening.
I really hope that you will produce a CD of the work. (A number of people expressed such hopes last night!) If it's not premature, I'd like to place an advance order.
Margaret West, Blackheath
I was 'moved' by every 'movement'. I pray that your talent will remain to cheer a world that needs your music, charm, talent and infectious, gracious presentation.
Una Smith, Randwick (Sydney)
A great concert, a great series, a wonderful venue, nice people, yummy biscuits. Thank you!

This is as up-close as it gets to sharing with the players the intimacy of chamber music, a close-up that is usually the preserve of the TV camera's zoom lens. It makes sight as important as sound in the enjoyment of the performance, for the sights that make the sounds are in clear focus. Every gesture of face and hands and body is seen and felt. Herscovitch's hands are visual poetry across the keyboard, while the bowing and fingering of Lindsay and Tsai are graphic music. Click here to read the whole article....

The music selected, the performances and the lovely setting made this one of the most enjoyable artistic experiences we've had for a very long time.
Umberto Bonanno, Sydney
To be close to, and see the Apollo Trio with their intense mental, emotional and physical input, gave me a new perspective unobtainable from listening to a CD, radio. Congratulations on the beautiful Kawai Grand.
Marie Langtry, Sydney
Marvellous, especially coupled with the purpose of your 10% donation: Shostakovich & the refugee resettlement cause - a marvellous reaction to evil in high places, and for peace and justice in this new century.
Ian Maguire, Blackheath
I particularly enjoyed the introduction to each work by the musicians. Can they say more in the future please?
Peter Surgeon, Blackheath
We will be returning to England until November, but will look forward to coming back to concerts then. Than you very much for a great experience!

Very enjoyable evening - interesting repertoire, good variety. As a school student I greatly appreciate the opportunity to attend such concerts.
Laura Sweeney
It was very Australian and quite delightful to hear a Kookaburra calling through the music.
Monica Flynn
Venue excellent. Wonderful atmosphere - would be lost in a hall. Choice of contemporary pieces was fine - beautiful pieces - but nothing too challenging please. Supper great. We plan to take out a subscription.
